Corrupted content cache
Luduvo's downloaded content folder is corrupted, so it can't update itself.
What you see
Luduvo won't update and keeps using old content.
Who's affected
Seen on build 39 during launch week.
What to do
- Close Luduvo completely.
- Press Win + R, paste %APPDATA%\Luduvo and press Enter.
- Copy Client\Settings.cfg somewhere safe if you want to keep your settings.
- Delete the Luduvo folder you just opened, then start Luduvo. It downloads fresh content.
Don't bother with
- Deleting anything outside that Luduvo folder.
Status
Fixed in build 40. If you still see it, update Luduvo first.
“delete the appdata/Roaming/Luduvo completely it looks like its corrupted.”
How the Doctor spots it
It looks for log lines like these (patterns, not exact text):
content store: cannot renameMoveFileExW: Cannot create a file when that file already exists
