Graphics can't run D3D12 feature level 12.0
Your graphics card can't create the kind of D3D12 device Luduvo needs, and Vulkan wasn't available either.
What you see
A popup says: No compatible GPU found. Luduvo requires a compatible Vulkan 1.3/ Metal3/ D3D12 GPU or driver.
Who's affected
Graphics from around 2012 or earlier, such as Intel HD 2000 (Sandy Bridge), Ivy Bridge graphics and the GeForce GT 710.
What to do
- Check for a newer graphics driver. On hardware this old there usually isn't one that helps.
- Luduvo doesn't support this graphics hardware yet. Staff say a DirectX 11 renderer is coming, and OpenGL isn't planned.
Don't bother with
- Reinstalling Luduvo. It won't change what your graphics card supports.
Status
Still open as of build 45.
“vulkan, dx12 and dx11 of which vulkan and dx12 are already in use”
Linked issues
- Often caused by Graphics only supports Vulkan 1.2
- Often caused by Vulkan unavailable, D3D12 used instead
How the Doctor spots it
It looks for log lines like these (patterns, not exact text):
no adapter satisfies D3D12 feature level 12.0
