Join does nothing on macOS
On macOS, the Join button can't find the game client yet. Studio works, but joining from the website doesn't.
What you see
The browser asks to open Luduvo URI Handler, then nothing happens.
Who's affected
Mac players (Apple Silicon preview).
Why it happens
The URI handler looks for an app in /Applications, but the Mac download isn't packaged as an app yet, so the handler times out.
What to do
- There's no simple fix yet. Studio works in the meantime.
- Advanced: tunics posted a way to start the game from Terminal with the launch link. You have to be quick, because the link expires. tunics' workaround
Don't bother with
- Moving the Luduvo folder into Applications. It doesn't help, because the client isn't an .app yet.
